Gamification for Design and Innovation complements and enhances service design by providing a more structured and engaging approach to innovation. A gamification method and tool (ideaChef®) will be conveyed in an organized fashion to teams of 4 up to 6 participants throughout the workshop. Each team will develop a concrete idea i.e. “create a system to increase engagement of participants in a service innovation initiative”. Participants will acquire a conceptual and hands-on context for positioning gamification within the frameworks associated with service design and co-creation. Moreover it will also allow getting insights into why gamification has become so relevant to educating and engaging students and professionals in knowledge-based workplaces and the classrooms.
